MR., MRS. RICHARD DUNPHY

Richard and Virginia Dunphy, of Chicopee, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a gathering of family and friends at their daughter's home.

The couple were married on Aug. 22, 1959, at St. Mary's Church in Willimansett.

They are the parents of Kathleen Messier, Robert Dunphy and Darlene Clark, all of Chicopee. They have seven grandchildren.

Mr. Dunphy retired from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His wife, the former Virginia Weston, retired from Avery Dennison in Chicopee.
